This pattern is written in US Crochet Terminology and uses standard Crochet Abbreviations.
Description
- Ch 4, join into a loop, and work 12 dc. Fasten off.
- With petal colour, and WORKING IN THE BACK LOOPS ONLY, attach yarn.
- *Ch6, and working into the same loop, yo twice, hook through loop, yo then pull through loop, (yo and pull through 2 loops) twice [2 loops on hook].
- Still working into the same loop, yo, hook through loop, yo then pull through loop, yo and pull through 2 loops [3 loops on hook].
- Still working into the same loop, yo, hook through loop, yo then pull through loop, yo and pull through all 5 loops on hook. Miss a st and sl st into next st. (1st petal made).
- Rep from * 5 times more. Finish with a sl st in same st as 1st petal. Fasten off.
- With back hexagon colour and continuing working in the back loops of centre circle attach yarn to one of the missed stitches underneath a petal (pull the petal forward so that you can see the stitch beneath, [working behind the petal]), *work 3 dc into the loop, then push petal back up and work 1dc over the sl st between petals.
- Rep from * 5 times more. Sl st into top of 1st dc.
- ch 3, (2dc in next st), *dc1, (dc2 in next st); rep from * around finishing with a sl st in top of ch3.
- *(dc, ch2, dc), 1dc, 1hdc, 4sc, 1hdc, 1dc, rep from * 3 times more. St st to top of 1st dc. Fasten off.
