Flashy Flower Bag

This pattern is written in US Crochet Terminology and uses standard Crochet Abbreviations.
I used Drops Paris Yarn and a 4.5mm crochet hook.
3 balls of white, and small amounts of the other colours.
You will need 2 handles that are approximately 6 inches wide.
Description
- Make 13 Flashy Flower Squares- pattern here
- Arrange the squares in a diamond pattern with 5 front, 5 back and 1 joining each side and bottom.
- Using a contrasting colour join the squares together by holding them right sides together and (WORKING INTO THE BACK LOOPS ONLY OF THE TOP STS) crochet them together along the seam with sc.
Find some handles that will fit to the top points of your bag.
- Starting mid way on top right of bag join to a st. ch1, sc in same st. sc up side of square stopping just before the top st.
- Join the end of the first handle by crocheting 2sc in the next sc, 2sc in the ch1 sp, and 2sc in the next sc – AT THE SAME TIME CATCH IN THE RING OF THE HANDLE. (6sc in total over the handle.
- Sc down to the bottom of the V, stopping just before the last st. Work 2sc in bottom st, 1sc in ch1 sp of middle square below, 2sc in 1st st of next square.
- Carry on as established working sc all around, working 6 sc over handle loops and 5 sc in each bottom v. Join to 1st sc with a sl st and fasten off.
